Does the gift card cover the whole booking, or just the deposit?

Only a $50 deposit per game is collected when you book online, and your gift card can cover that deposit. Any balance left on the card is then applied toward the rest of your total when you arrive.

Gift cards are a form of payment, not a discount, so the full value goes toward what you owe.
