Before You Book
Quick answers about deposits, private games, arrival time, gift cards, cancellations, and booking your escape room.
Groups that require multiple rooms often book through our Events Team.
Large groups can also book themselves using the online booking platform on this page. The game capacity for each game is listed within the online booking platform.
We understand that plans change, so reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start time of your original reservation. We will email you a store credit, to the same e-mail used to make the reservation, as a digital voucher for the amount you already paid.
Alternatively, you can reschedule your game to a new date or time, but we still require at least a 24 hour notice before the start time of your original reservation to do so. Within 24 hours you may reschedule your booking for a $50 fee.
All sales are final and there are no refunds.
If you are a large group (20+), we have a separate cancellation policy that supersedes our regular one and requires at least a 5 day cancellation notice before the start time of your original reservation.
Your gift card will be used to book your adventure, so make sure it’s handy when you make your reservation.
Gift cards are a form of payment, not a discount. Enter your gift card at the final step of checkout when selecting your payment method
- Select your game, date, and time. Each gift card has a unique (typically 16-digit) code.
- On the payment page, click the “Gift card” button, enter your gift card code, and click “Apply.”
- When booking, only the deposit will be charged to your gift card. If there is a remaining balance on your gift card, it can be applied when you arrive for your reservation.

Anyone entering the game is required to be paid for.
All of our games are designed with adults in mind. However, we do not have an age limit, but please be aware that many puzzles may be difficult for children. A paying adult, 18 or older, must participate with anyone that is under 18. No exceptions.
We suggest leaving very young children at home or with a sitter as this environment is not designed or catered for them and their safety.
A valid photo ID may be requested at the time of check-in.
Our games can involve flashing lights, lasers, fog, crawling, and moving assemblies that can be very surprising for some. Please take these into consideration for those who have a pacemaker, severe heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, are pregnant, or have a physical disability that may not allow you to have the full experience. We take the safety of our players very seriously. Expedition Escape and staff reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Ticket prices for each escape game vary based on the date and/or time of entry and demand. Holiday periods tend to be higher ticket prices than others and/or there may be a minimum number of people required. For the most accurate pricing, go to our booking page, above, to view the exact game, dates, and time for specific pricing and availability.
- For all of our 60-minute escape games, prices range from $35 – $62 per person.
- Santa’s Holiday Hat Hunt, our 30-minute escape game, is priced separately, ranging from $25 – $35 per person.
We never add any hidden fees or service charges. Please note, however, that Upper Merion Township does impose a 10% Amusement Tax on all tickets.
You can secure your reservation with a simple $50 deposit. We understand that guest counts can fluctuate; you can always adjust your final party size when you arrive to play, ensuring you only pay for the people who are actually able to attend.
