There is no age limit, however, please be aware that many puzzles may be difficult for children. We require that any players under 18 be accompanied by at least one paying adult (18 years of age or older per game room that counts as a player). An adult (18 years of age or older) must be in the room for insurance and liability purposes. No exceptions.
Our escape rooms are designed for adults. We like to say we are family friendly, rather than kid-friendly. Meaning, when you have a mix of children and adults in the room, it can be extremely helpful as the kids become searchers (they find hidden things adults don’t always see) while the adults are able to solve the more complex puzzles. However, when there’s an entire group of children in the room, not many puzzles get solved as they don’t tend to have the attention span or they are too busy socializing to stay focused on the task at hand.
We suggest leaving very young children at home or with a sitter as this environment is not designed or catered for them and their safety. However, children **aged 3 and under** do not have to be paid for when a private room is reserved.
Every adult in the group must sign a waiver before playing (minors must be listed under the adults playing). To make things go faster, feel free to sign our waivers before coming. Be sure you’re choosing the correct location, room, date, and time or you won’t be in the same group as the rest of your adventurers! To make it easy, have the adult (18 years of age or older) in the room sign for all the minors in the room as they will be directly responsible.
